The Saga Continues...(or, Why Georgina Baillie is a Silly Cow)
Just last week, the Satanic Slut Georgina Baillie was calling for Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand to be sacked.
Now that she wants to pursue a career as an actress and model, she's decided it might be a bad idea to make enemies of two influential, popular celebrities and is calling for them to be reinstated.
Let me get this straight...in one breath she's calling Russell Brand a whore, and in the next she says Brand and Ross are "really talented comedians" and that a world without them "would be a very sad, dull place".
She may not have any talent as an actress or model, but she sure has the brains to be a top-notch celebrity...or maybe she has a bright future in politics.

BBC Buckles By Banishing Bawdy Buffoons
Okay, just thought I would throw in my 2p concerning the suspension by the BBC of Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross over some prank phone calls.
Yeah, it was childish and maybe a bit stupid to make the calls, but why did the BBC hire these two in the first place? Part of it had to be the fact that they're known for saying and doing outrageous things. Now they're suspending them for doing their jobs? I say suspend the producer who allowed the pre-recorded incident to be broadcast.
The BBC should really grow some bollocks (and ITN News should learn to spell "unacceptable", but I digress)...and the government...the FUCKING GOVERNMENT has more important things to worry about than the antics of a couple of comedians, don't you think? Hey, Gordon and all you other politicians who have weighed in with your stuffy, bullshit commentary........get back to WORK, you twats!
It was reported that after the initial broadcast there were exactly two complaints. Now more than 18,000 people have voiced their disapproval, supposedly. Some are even calling for Brand and Ross to be sacked! You angry, petty people. Are there really that many souls in this country with no trace of a sense of humour?
I don't know if I should be angry or sad anymore.

Is Something Wrong With Dave The Spazz?
Normally, I think that WFMU's Beware of the Blog is right on, groovy, and funkdafied enough to peruse at least a couple times a week.
Not too long ago, though, I stumbled upon this post by Dave the Spazz. Now, I realise that Dave the Spazz's opinions do not necessarily reflect that of WFMU's as a whole, so I'm not too upset. BUT...I think D the S got it wrong with his evaluation of Louis Prima's version of Sympathy For The Devil.
He calls it a "crummy instrumental" and a "bewildering, jazzy mess".
I say that's what makes it so great!
I do like ol' Dave's writing though. It's pretty damn funny. No really...I'm not being sarcastic. Hi, Dave!
